Makiko's Trinket - IntroMakiko’s Trinket is the story of Achav, a disturbed young man who believes he is a warrior sent on a special mission by “The Empire” to rescue a princess called Makiko. He carries with him a small ballerina figurine – “a keepsake of the princess” – to prove that she can trust him when he arrives. Achav believes Makiko is being held in the Center Spires, a cluster of towers which are home to the black wizard Xatoth. So, he sets out on a quest to kill the wizard and rescue the princess. The only problem is: no one believes him.   
In reality, the year is close to 2500 AD. In the derelict city he calls home, Achav is seen as a drunk, i Makiko's Trinket - Intro

Hello! Project updates, etc. below...

So, the website is finally finished. I felt bad asking for other people's help, so I just went and did it myself. - [link]

It's not fantastic or ultra-flashy, but it gets the job done for now, and hopefully will get more people interested in the project. I'm still looking for a primary illustrator, so anyone interested, be sure to contact me. Anyone else that I talked to about helping illustrate the novel (I think two or three people), I will contact you once we start work.
